The employee's personal career plan can be overlooked, reviewed too briefly, or can be tied too harshly to the company objectives.Management need to be asking:How does this person feel about their job?What role is this person suited for?What does this person want to do or enjoy the most?What can they be better at with a little support or training?What aspects of their role could be handed to another staff member that is maybe more suited to that task?What tasks could this person take on because they are best suited and show an interest?, etcThis is Plethus' area of specialty.
